Dr. Ming Ho
Dentist
Dr. Ming Ho received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of British Columbia (UBC). Prior to dentistry, Dr. Ho completed his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at UBC and worked as a community pharmacist for two years. Although those two years were rewarding and provided valuable learning opportunities, Dr. Ho yearned for a more fulfilling role in healthcare that combined the need for technical precision with a high degree of challenge and variety. This is what led him toward dentistry. After graduation, Dr. Ho worked in an underserved community in Northern BC, which provided him with a great deal of clinical experience. This opportunity allowed him to experience the effects of the various social determinants of health and learn novel ways to support marginalized communities. Dr. Ho has completed the Maxi-course, which is a one-year program focusing on the placement of implants. He is also an Invisalign® provider and a proud member of the AACA. Dr. Ho enjoys all areas of dentistry and is a compassionate dentist who upholds the key principles of patient autonomy and patient care. He believes that patient education is extremely important for the prevention of oral health diseases. During his spare time, Dr. Ho likes to go on hikes and play badminton.
Dr. Sungwon Kim
Dentist
Dr. Sungwon Kim received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of British Columbia. After graduating, she moved to Edmonton, Alberta, where she was able to experience the full spectrum of general dental practice. She is happy to be back in her home in beautiful British Columbia now.
Dr. Kim enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and focuses on providing quality dental care in a comfortable environment for all her patients. Dr. Kim enjoys seeing patients of all ages, including the pediatric population! To stay updated on current technologies and treatments, Dr. Kim participates in various continuing education programs to continue to expand and refine her skills.
Outside of work, Dr. Kim likes to stay active and explore the great outdoors that BC has to offer. She loves to try new restaurants, play with her nieces, and go wine tasting.
Dr. Rola Nasralla
Dentist
Dr. Rola Nasralla is a family dentist who takes pride in providing her patients with a high level of quality dental care. She strives to put her patients at ease and make every appointment as comfortable as possible. Dr. Nasralla loves providing quality oral health care to both adults and children alike, and she offers dental services in both English and Arabic.
Dr. Nasralla has always been passionate about Dental Medicine. She graduated from UBC Dental School in 2009 and has extensive experience at several prestigious dental practices, including the UBC Oral Health Centre. She has been a recipient of the Prosthodontic Excellence Dental Award, a recipient of the Canadian Federation of University Women’s Scholarship, and was a member of the UBC Faculty of Dentistry.
In her free time, Dr. Rola Nasralla enjoys reading, cooking, going for walks, and spending time with her family. She is also big on helping others in her community.
Dr. Nasralla prides herself on promptly responding to her patients’ needs and consistently receives very positive feedback from patients and parents of her younger clientele, who refer to her as “Dr. Rola”. You’re in good hands with Dr. Nasralla!

Hygienist
Roopi loves to travel to tropical destinations. She also likes to sketch during her free time, which is rare as of late. Spending time with her family whenever possible is something she enjoys but she can also be known as a homebody. Her main priority and joy is her 2 years-old daughter, Serene. She keeps her busy most of the time. This has limited her ability to be healthy. She currently works part-time and loves her career as an RDH.
